Matrix: How to search for foreclosure (REO) and Short Sale properties in Matrix?

In this example, we will assume you are looking for a Single Family Home so we will start from Residential search
 
1. On the Search criteria page scroll down to the bottom left (Under results you will see Additional Fields Add/Remove. 

Please select Add/Remove.


2. In the list of Available fields section, Find the field called “Special Additional Listing Info” and click on it should then be highlighted Blue.

3.Click on the Add button between Available Fields and Selected Fields, you should then see the selected field move into the Selected Fields section.

4. Click on “Back” button located near the bottom

5. You should now have the field “Special Additional Listing Info” located at the bottom under Additional Fields

6. To search for “Short Sales” only, click/highlight on “Short Sales” 
7. To search for “REO’s” only, click/highlight on “REO” 
8. To search for “Short Sales” and “REO”s” together click on both “Short Sales” & “REO’” (by holding down your Control Key, or the Command Key on a Mac)
9. To exclude “Short Sales” from your search results, click on “Short Sales” and check off “Not” 
10. To exclude “REO” for your search results, click on “REO” and check off “Not"
