Smart Draft - Efficient Listing Input

Smart Draft empowers you with control over your listings. It is important to check all input fields for accuracy as the data is drawn from a decade’s worth of property history within the MLSListings system.

When adopting any new tool, it's standard practice to carefully review any data you put on the MLS system. Use Smart Draft and elevate your listings to new heights today.

Smart Draft is a Listing Management feature that makes it easier for agents to enter a listing in our system. The way it works is the agent starts with adding a listing:

Enter the class and sub class:

Next input the office info

Once at the Property Overview section, agents will have the option to use Smart Draft.  First, either enter the APN# with Zip code, or the address.  In this example, we used 417 Hillcrest Dr in Aptos.  Once the system identifies the property the Smart Draft button will appear if there is enough information on file for this property.  If there is not enough information for this property, you won’t see the Smart Draft button.


You could also get the button using apn and zip code:

Click the Try Smart Draft button (either through the address or apn #), then the system will retrieve all the files we have on file for this property and a pop-up will appear:

Here is the text from popup:
The new Smart Draft feature was able to fill 65 fields for this property in addition to tax data from Realist. You must verify and update (if necessary) these imported fields which will be highlighted in yellow. These fields include data in the Interior section, Exterior section and Community section as well as tax data from Realist.

Once the pop-up is closed, the system will return you to the Property Overview section and all imported fields, including imported fields from Realist will be highlighted in yellow.  The agent still needs to go through and verify the imported fields are correct and current.
