Aligned Showings: Getting Started as a Buyer’s Agent

In response to subscriber feedback, MLSListings is partnering with MLS Aligned as they develop their new showing management tool, Aligned Showings, another included benefit for MLSListings subscribers available at no extra cost. 

Aligned Showings is nearing the end of its beta phase of development, and we would like to invite you to try out the product with your listed properties.  

Aligned Showings Overview 

Aligned Showings enables listing agents and buyers’ agents to connect to schedule home showings. In addition to easily scheduling showings, the tool provides a way to quickly communicate with other agents to ask questions or follow up after a showing.  

The tool is integrated into Listing Management for listing agents and Matrix for buyer’s agents who want to schedule a showing. 

Aligned Showings for Buyer’s Agents 

As an agent representing a buyer, your first point of interaction with Aligned Showings will be in the Agent Full display in Matrix search results.

When you click on the link, you will be asked to login with your MLSListings credentials:

Once logged in, you will be taken to the Aligned Showings scheduling window, where you can start by selecting the desired date for your showing: 

After selecting the date, you can select the time by clicking on the address of the property and dragging it to your desired time slot. Once you’ve chosen your desired showing start time, you can click on the time period to select how long you wish the showing to last. Note that the listing agent can determine the maximum time for a showing, so listings may not show all appointment length options.

You can then add an optional message if you wish, or just click “Send.” 

Clicking on the Send button sends the request to the listing agent via email. 

Aligned Showings Messages 

Communication between agents is done via email or the Messages window within Aligned Showings. The Messages window will contain a history of the conversation between you and the listing agent. The Messages window looks like this for a buyer’s agent: 

Note that there are tools on the right hand for canceling the appointment or modifying the date or time.
