Team Listings Policy

The MLS policy for Team listings is to keep the Sold listing information with the Team ID once it is off-market (e.g. Sold).

If your Team is forming, we can add the Active listings (not those with accepted offers) of its members to the Team ID with the listing broker or office manager’s approval (Broker, OM or Office Assistant can also).

If your Team is disbanding, we can again, move the on-market Active listings from the Team ID to the individual named on the listing agreement with broker or office manager approval (Broker, OM or Office Assistant can also).

Sold listings submitted under a Team ID will not be moved to individuals and previously sold listings as an individual will not be moved to a Team ID.

On the MLS, agents can list and sell as a Team or as an Individual but not both on the same listing.

Please remember when forming or joining a Team or listing as a Team, that individual production is given to the Team brand and ID and will remain with the Team for sold properties.

Also, be sure to check your sales as Team acting as a Buyer’s agent. You need to provide the listing agent your Team ID before closing so they can close it with the attribution to your Team ID.

After closing, the MLS policy to change the Buyer’s agent from an individual to a Team ID requires listing agent’s permission and the request be made within 30 days of closing.
