How to set up a Custom Display from the Search Results Page

This section covers how to add / remove columns within the results page.

1) From the results page, hover over any header.  For example 'Street Address', Your mouse will change to a 4-way pointer. Once you see that then left click.

2) To add a column, click on 'Insert Column'.  

3) The available columns to add will be in alphabetical order. You can either scroll through the list to find the column you wish to add. Or You can type in keywords in the 'Search' field to find the column to add. 

4) Once you find the column you wish to add, highlight that column and then click Apply.

Inserting a new column will add your desired column to the left of the column you are currently editing. 

Rearrange/Move columns

5) You can rearrange or move a column simply by dragging it around on your screen. To do this move your mouse onto the column header that you want to move. Your cursor will change into a 4-way pointer. While your cursor looks like a 4-way pointer, click the mouse and hold, and then drag the column to your desired location. Then release the mouse. The column will drop at that location

Resizing columns

Sometimes a column may not be wide enough to display all the information. Matrix lets you resize the column width so you can display all or only part of the information available.

6) Move your mouse to the area to the right of the column you want to resize. Your cursor will change into a column with arrows pointing left and right. While your cursor looks like this, click and drag to the right or left until the column is in your desired size, Then release the mouse.

Save your changes

7) After you have customized your display, you will need to Save this display for future use. To save, at the top right, click on the icon Manage Display. Looks like a paper with a pencil.

8) You can customize the display name below Custom Display Name, Erase Agent 1 Line, and type in your own custom name. Once done click on 'Save as a Copy'.

9) If you are editing an already existing custom display, after making changes, You will click on 'Save changes' and not Save as Copy.

10) To access these customer displays you have created, you will find them on the search results page under Display. Each custom display will start with my: and then the display name you created.
