“1 Photo in 1 Day” Rule Now Enforced (Video)

As previously announced, the MLS Rules Committee and Board of Directors voted in January to amend the MLS rules such that the requirement to add a photo to a listing was changed from three days to one day. In other words, a photo must now be uploaded to a new listing within a day after the list date.

The rule change was effective on the day it was announced, but it is now officially being enforced (as of March 1, 2020).

This rule change improves the value of the service for brokers, agents, and consumers by increasing the timeliness and speed of important property information.

Our neighboring MLSs also made this change to normalize our practices across the markets.
